Random map on a plane

Suppose xn is a random variable. What does the following map describe? Shown below are three sample maps (different initial positions) and the corresponding log-log plot of the distance between successive points indicating that the distance between the nth and the (n+1)th points is inversely proportional to n.

What kind of mathematical function am I?

I took this joke test to determine what kind of mathematical function I am, and here's my result.

Wow, you're all over the place! Hanging with you is a wild ride, my friend! Your life is an emotional roller coaster... The kind that goes off the rails. You live life to its fullest, every day. You will bungee jump anytime, anywhere. They may call you crazy; they may call you flighty. But they will never call you boring.

I remember an SMS which reads:

Math tells us three of the saddest love stories: Tangent lines who had one chance to meet and then parted forever; Parallel lines who were never meant to meet; and Asymptotic lines who can get closer and closer but will never be together.

"Don't we just love math?"

Stories from the 4th Jagna International Workshop

It was in 1999, last year nako sa undergrad, when I first heard of this Jagna thing. Ma'am Jinky then told us about how lucky she was to have talked to the 1999 Physics Nobel Prize t'Hooft during the 1st Jagna in 1995. Kung wa ko nasayop, nakanganga ko pagkadungog nako ato. Last year, the excitement went up further upon knowing that the most recent Physics Nobel (Wilczek) was there too in 1995.
